My interest as an artist developed from  a young age as a Primary school learner and ever since I took Art as a subject in school. I studied at PUKKE (University of North West)-Secondary Art Teachers Diploma. and obtained my BA Fine Art at UNISA .Although I majored in Printmaking and Design I enjoy working  in different Art disciplines and media:  Printmaking

The media I enjoy most at this moment is the Design of one-offs unique handmade Sterling Silver and semiprecious stone Jewelry , and Painting with Watercolor.

I find my inspiration for my jewelry and fine art in nature especially the landscape. Old masters, the Impressionists and Post Impressionists inspire me. South African Artists William Kentridge, Dianne Victor and Chris Diedericks are role models for my Printmaking.

My style is graphic with fine detail, narrative, playful, bright and colourful but at times just monochrome.

Interpretation of images and nature are conceptual

I am a professional artist, teacher and lecturer working from my studio Cat’s Art Studio) (Fb) in Jeffreys Bay. I accept commissions for the home, galleries and exhibitions. I have my art available on various online platforms: I have 2 Instagram accounts ,for my jewellery and fine art.

In Pretoria I participated regularly in group art exhibitions at different prestigious galleries and in private homes.

I have sold artworks and jewellery locally and abroad

I enjoy teaching, art appreciation and presenting workshops. I emerge myself into various media: etchings, linocuts compressed charcoal, watercolour, silversmithing, oils , acrylics and more.   I am committed to my art, but also find great enjoyment to share my views with the art enthusiast and fellow artists.
