Carol Jansen Van Vuuren
I paint what I love, God’s nature. I started painting late in life but have always done some kind of creative projects.
I studied food and clothing technology at Vaal University as well as a diploma in Horticulture. I work mostly in oil and have had exhibitions at Petra Stighling gallery, Riebeck Kasteel gallery and the Infinity gallery in Nieu Bethesda, also a permanent exhibition at Palette Gallery in Jeffreys Bay as well as numerous other small venues. My art is the ‘thing’ that gets me up in the mornings, often working late at night at my home studio or the studio at Palette Gallery. I have sold to buyers all over the world and I give thanks to my creator for His Blessings in my life. …
My are journey started when I was a young child always drawing and attracted to colour but only after retirement and moving to Jeffreys bay did I start exploring the different art medium and discovered oil paint. I l love to paint the landscapes of the places I have been to and of course the flowers that bring me so much pleasure. God has Blessed me in my art journey and I Honour Him for this amazing gift.
